Policies for

General Home & Office maintencance and repair services,

Security maintenance, installations and repairs and

Vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Nature of Service

ET Handyman provides General Home & Office maintencance and repair services, Security maintenance, installations and repairs and Vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Quotation

All ET Handyman quotations will remain valid for a period of ten (10) working days from the date of the quotation.

Delivery and performance times quoted are estimates and are not binding by ET Handyman.

All variations to the original quotation accepted by the Customer must be verified with ET Handyman. Variations will be accepted as legal and binding on receipt in writing from ET Handyman.

 

Access to work site

The Customer shall afford ET Handyman staff access to the property to perform the work in accordance with Et Handyman on specified scheduled time and date for work to be completed.

Exclusion of liability

In the case when any loss occur as a result of warlike operations, war, civil unrest,riot, acts of God, or any other act that is beyond the control of ET Handyman, ET Handyman shall not be held liable for any losses due to such actions.

Suspension of work

ET Handyman has the right to suspend performance of the work in the terms of the agreement in the event of a breach by the customer to include but not be limited to:

In the event of water or electricity which may be required by ET Handyman to complete work are not made availabe by the customer.

ET Handyman employees not being granted access to premises to complete their work.

Non-payment of any invoice or amounts on the agreed upon date which may be owed by the customer in terms of the agreement.

Payment

In the event that the customer opts to cancel sevices requested prior to commencement a cancellation fee may be charged.

ET Handyman charges are billed in South African Rand.

Warranties and Garantees

All work done by ET Handyman shall be done at a reasonable satisfaction of the Customer according to the Terms and Conditions of quotation accepted by the customer.

All work shall be garented for a period of six (6) months from the date of completion.

Any claim due to exterial cracks that may appear as a result of materials drying will not not be regarded as defects.

In the event of claims due to defective materials the claim will be directed to the Supplier and ET Handyman will assist without assuming any liablility.

Claims

The Customer shall notify ET Handyman within seven (7) days from the date of work completed.

ET Handyman shall be granted the chance upon the receiving of a claim to inspect the workmanship and / or defects within ten (10) working days which does not meet the Customer’s approval and;

  • The Customer will be notified in writing of ET Handyman’s findings if the work is of a justifiable standard.
  • If ET Handyman regard the work as unacceptable standard due to any defects supplied materials by ET Handyman, defects in the workmanship, insufficient workmanship will be repaired by ET Handyman, within ten (10) working days, to the customers reasonable satisfaction, at the cost of ET Handyman.
  • After seven (7) days of work completed, workmanship and material will be deemed to be of a reasonable satisfaction of the Customer if no claims have been given in writing. Customer will have no furher right of resouce against ET Handyman in respect of defects or repairs.
  • If the case of a latent defect, the Customer has to address the claim to ET Handyman within the warranty period of six (6) months in detail the nature of the claim.
